Kent County Levy Court Chambers  Dover,
DE This large public office complex houses the Levy Court Chambers for Kent County Delaware. The local-level courtroom was designed to comply with federal courtroom building standards regarding acoustical properties. Located within 1/2 mile from the approach/departure end of a Dover Air Force Base runway, the building's exterior and interior construction had to be designed to attenuate extremely loud noise from military fighter and cargo aircraft. Bernhard Shipps and Associates worked closely with Future Sys Design to provide a facility with state-of-the-art capabilities that work well and without compromises.
