AIG INSURANCE EXECUTIVE BOARDROOM
New York, NY High-end executive boardroom with pop-up video monitors at all chair positions. A highly secure facility with confidential speech privacy requirements and low background noise levels required careful attention to architectural design of partitions, doors, and windows. The mechanical systems included an A/V closet within the boardroom with its own cooling system, acoustically designed to be as silent as possible.
Janney Montgomery Scott Executive Training Facility
Philadelphia, PA This large corporate training facility included full presentation, video teleconferencing, and distance learning capabilities. Acoustical design challenges included strict mechanical noise control and reverberation control for considerations of the ceiling-mounted microphone voice-lift system. The space was also located horizontally adjacent to local floor mechanical rooms and vertically adjacent to mail sorting rooms. Bernhard Shipps and Associates worked closely with Future Sys Design to provide a facility with state-of-the-art capabilities that work well and without compromises.
