Morris James - One of Delaware's
leading law firms representing clients such as Dupont. Their new offices were
designed with glass storefront systems that offered limited acoustical
separation performance, and therefore limited speech privacy. This design flaw
was overlooked until the space was constructed and sensitive conversations were
being overheard in lobby and kitchen areas nearby. BSA was hired to assess
existing conditions, and offer schematic-intent recommendations for purposes of
improvements vs. cost. BSA's practical approach to the problem offered the
client solutions that were easily implemented, relatively inexpensive, and
effective enough eliminate most speech privacy issues.
