Merck - West Point Imaging Facility

This 10,000 SF addition to Merck & Co.’s Building 44
complex included significant acoustical design challenges regarding
acoustical separation requirements for rodent, canine, and non-human
primate vivarium. Additional design challenges included non-specified
vibration requirements for state-of-the-art high-power MRI machinery,
and its impact on background noise levels within the facility. |
